Newly renovated baseball fields at Wilson Park have been dedicated as the Gene Barnett Sports Fields and are now equipped with foul ball-protected fencing. This upgrade allows local high school teams to play games at the park for the first time. Why it matters: If you live near Wilson Park, expect increased activity and parking on game days. The project addresses growing demand for baseball facilities.
