Cal Water continues water pipe replacement work on Del Amo Boulevard between Maple Avenue and Western Avenue through mid-May 2026. The project requires lane closures in both directions, causing traffic delays particularly during weekday work hours from 9 AM to 3 PM.
The city has established detour routes using Carson Street and Torrance Boulevard as alternates. Traffic control officers are stationed at key intersections during peak hours. Business access is being maintained throughout construction.
