A driver in Torrance was caught on dashcam footage using a center left turn lane as a shortcut, driving against traffic to avoid traveling a short additional distance. The incident was captured on video and shared online, highlighting dangerous driving behavior on local roads.

The driver used the center turn lane to bypass regular traffic flow, creating a hazardous situation for oncoming vehicles. This type of reckless driving puts other motorists at risk and violates traffic laws designed to keep roads safe.

Torrance Police have not yet commented on whether the driver has been identified or cited. The incident serves as a reminder for drivers to follow traffic laws and use designated lanes properly. Center turn lanes are designed for turning vehicles only, not as bypass routes.
