Torrance Unified is accepting volunteer applications for upcoming school activities, seeking community members to assist in classrooms, libraries, and at campus events. Volunteers complete an online application, submit to a routine background check, and attend a short orientation session.

Opportunities include reading support, tutoring, event staffing, and after‑school help, with coordinators matching volunteers to appropriate roles and schedules. The district emphasizes that volunteers enrich student experiences and reinforce school‑community ties.
