Torrance Armed Forces Day Celebration Returns May 16

The City of Torrance will host its 64th Annual Armed Forces Day Celebration on Saturday, May 16.

The parade begins at 1:30 p.m., and this year’s honored branch is the United States Marine Corps. The celebration also includes the Torrance Armed Forces Day Stars & Strides 5K Run/Walk at 8:00 a.m., with a new start location at Maple Avenue and Civic Center Drive.

Military exhibits will be held at the Torrance City Yard throughout the weekend: Friday, May 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, May 16 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, May 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
