Depot Serves Up a Tex-Mex Cooking Class

The Depot Restaurant is hosting a themed cooking class on May 4, giving locals a hands-on way to enjoy food, fun, and a little Star Wars-inspired flavor.

Torrance food lovers looking for something more interactive than a regular lunch reservation may want to check out The Depot Restaurant’s upcoming cooking class.

The class, titled “Tex Mex – May the 4th be with You,” takes place on Monday, May 4, at The Depot Restaurant, 1250 Cabrillo Avenue in Torrance. The class starts at noon, lasts approximately two hours, and reservations can be made by calling 310-787-7501. The listed cost is $60 plus tax, with all sales final.

For the Torrance Buzz Bites & Bottles crowd, this is the kind of local dining experience that goes beyond simply ordering from a menu. It gives residents a chance to learn, taste, and spend time inside one of Torrance’s recognizable restaurant spaces while enjoying a themed food event.

The Star Wars-inspired name adds a lighthearted touch, but the real draw is the chance to gather with other food fans, pick up new kitchen ideas, and enjoy a mid-day local outing.
