Project Barley Square Keeps the Food, Beer, and Music Flowing |
The Old Torrance brewery and pub continues to offer a casual mix of craft beer, comfort food, live events, and neighborhood hangout energy. |
Project Barley Square continues to be one of Old Torrance’s casual gathering spots for residents who want food, drinks, and entertainment in one place.
Located at 1109 Van Ness Avenue, Project Barley Square lists upcoming events that include Karaoke with Matt on April 28, Music Matinee with Mike and Sharyl and Ghost Town Line Dancing on April 29, Open Mic with Mike Ford on April 30, Game Night: SINGO! on May 1, and a Cinco de Mayo Pregame with Token Methods on May 2.
The food and drink menu gives the venue its Bites & Bottles appeal. On the drink side, Project Barley lists beers including Cerveza Lomita Mexican Lager, Neverland West Coast IPA, Monkey & Engineer Hefeweizen, and Parker’s Stout, along with wine, beer cocktails, and cocktails. The food menu includes pub-style options such as fish and chips, wings, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, loaded nachos, a giant pretzel with beer cheese, and weekend breakfast items.
For locals, the draw is the combination: a walkable Old Torrance location, casual food, craft drinks, and something happening almost every night. Whether residents are looking for a quick beer, a relaxed dinner, or a low-pressure night out with music or games, Project Barley Square gives the neighborhood another reason to gather.
