The Melt Is Slated to Join Del Amo Fashion Center

The grilled-cheese-and-burger chain is planning a Torrance location near Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ.

A new casual food option is planned for Del Amo Fashion Center. What Now Los Angeles reports that The Melt is planning a Torrance location near Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ at 21540 Hawthorne Boulevard. The chain is known for grilled cheese, MeltBurgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, mac and cheese, and shakes.

 

The article says The Melt started in the Bay Area in 2011 and has since expanded into Northern California, Southern California, and Arizona. What Now Los Angeles also notes that another Bay Area-based chain, Onigilly Japanese Kitchen, is connected to Del Amo expansion plans.

 

Del Amo is one of Torrance’s major dining and shopping hubs. A new casual spot gives shoppers, workers, and families another quick meal option.
