The City of Torrance’s TorranceAlerts advisory page currently states that no message is available at this time. That means there is no verified active TorranceAlerts emergency advisory to publish as of this check.

Even so, this is a useful reminder for residents to make sure they are signed up for TorranceAlerts. The city describes TorranceAlerts as a free automated system used to reach the public by text messages and emails during disasters or major public-safety situations.

Emergency alerts are most useful when residents are signed up before something happens. This helps households receive official instructions during evacuations, disasters, or urgent local incidents.
