Pasta e Pasta by Allegro Opens in Torrance

The Japanese-Italian pasta favorite has opened a Torrance location on Pacific Coast Highway, bringing wafu-style pasta to the South Bay.

A new Japanese-Italian pasta spot has opened in Torrance. Pasta e Pasta by Allegro is now serving at 3629 Pacific Coast Highway, in the same plaza as Tokyo Central.

The restaurant is known for wafu-style pasta, a Japanese take on Italian comfort food that often blends creamy sauces, seafood, cod roe, mushrooms, uni, squid ink, and other umami-rich flavors. The Infatuation noted that the Torrance location is part of the Tokyo-based mini-chain’s expansion and serves Japanese-Italian fusion dishes similar to its Little Tokyo and Cerritos restaurants. Eater LA also highlighted the Torrance opening and specifically praised the mentai cream pasta as one of its standout recent dishes.

For Torrance diners, this gives the South Bay another casual food destination with a distinctive menu and a strong local dining angle.
