Kimukatsu Brings Layered Japanese Katsu Back to Torrance

The cult-favorite tonkatsu shop has reopened inside Tokyo Central Market on Pacific Coast Highway.

Torrance diners have another Japanese comfort-food option to check out inside Tokyo Central Market on Pacific Coast Highway.

Eater LA recently highlighted Kimukatsu in Torrance as a reopened cult-favorite tonkatsu spot, noting that the restaurant has revived inside the former Vanshow sushi space at Tokyo Central Market. The menu focuses on pork and chicken katsu sets, including Kimukatsu’s signature layered “mille-feuille” pork cutlet.

For Torrance readers, this is a strong Bites & Bottles item because it fits the city’s deep Japanese food scene and gives locals another reason to visit the PCH food corridor. Eater listed the address as 3665 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite D, Torrance.
