Torrance Voters Have June 2 Election Ahead

The local ballot includes mayor, City Clerk, City Treasurer, and City Council races.

Torrance voters have a local election coming up on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

 

The City of Torrance election page lists qualified candidates for Mayor, City Clerk, City Treasurer, and City Council Districts 1, 3, and 5. The city’s candidate list includes George Chen and Sharon Kalani for mayor; Rebecca Poirier for City Clerk; Charles Deemer, Mike Griffiths, and Aurelio Mattucci for City Treasurer; and district races in Council Districts 1, 3, and 5.

 

California election officials say all active registered voters receive a ballot for the June 2 Primary Election, county officials began mailing ballots on May 4, and secure ballot drop-off locations opened on May 5.
