Torrance has a special place in American soccer history, and a local exhibit is giving residents a chance to revisit that connection.
The Torrance Historical Society Museum is featuring a “History of Soccer Collection” exhibit that highlights Torrance’s link to the birthplace of AYSO soccer. With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching, the timing gives the exhibit extra local interest for families, sports fans, and longtime residents.
The exhibit includes a private soccer collection and offers a simple, local way to celebrate Torrance’s role in the growth of youth soccer.
