Torrance Theatre Company is bringing a new musical comedy to its Downtown Torrance stage with “The First Gentleman,” running June 6 through June 27 at 1316 Cabrillo Ave.
The show features music and lyrics by Bret Simmons and is described as a classic “fish-out-of-water” musical comedy set in the White House. The story follows an ordinary family trying to navigate extraordinary circumstances inside one of the most recognizable settings in American life.
Performances are scheduled on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with select Saturday matinees. General admission is listed at $35, and the company notes that the venue is an intimate 49-seat theater in Historic Downtown Torrance.
