Youth Soccer Clinic Set for Downtown Torrance

Torrance families have a youth sports event to put on the calendar as the city’s summer soccer celebration gets underway.

The City of Torrance lists a special Soccer Clinic with Torrance High School for Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to noon. The clinic is connected to the broader Kick It in Downtown Torrance celebration, which brings together youth clinics and soccer watch parties in partnership with Metro and the Downtown Torrance Association.

The same day, Downtown Torrance is also scheduled to host watch-party sessions for Qatar vs. Switzerland at noon and Brazil vs. Morocco at 3 p.m. Registration is required for the watch-party sessions due to anticipated attendance, and admission is subject to venue capacity.

For parents, the youth clinic is a practical way to turn World Cup excitement into a local activity for kids. For Downtown Torrance, it is another chance to bring families into the area for sports, community energy, and a summer event tied to Southern California’s growing soccer spotlight.
