TorranceAlerts gives residents, businesses, and visitors a direct way to receive official emergency information from the City of Torrance.

The free system is designed for situations where the city needs people to take action, such as evacuating, avoiding an area, sheltering in place, or responding to a public safety concern. Alerts can be delivered by phone call, email, text message, and through the TorranceAlerts mobile app.

The city encourages residents to make TorranceAlerts part of their personal emergency preparedness plan. Users can register, manage alert preferences, and choose how they want to receive notifications.
