Wilson Park Pickleball Courts Target Summer Opening |
Torrance says eight dedicated courts are in progress. |
Torrance pickleball players may soon have more room to play. The city says a capital project is underway to build eight new dedicated pickleball courts at Wilson Park. Once completed, the courts are expected to accommodate up to 32 players at a time.
The new courts are planned near the existing tennis, paddle tennis, and pickleball area. The city says the project will include fencing and nighttime lighting, which could make the courts more useful for players with daytime work or school schedules.
The city’s posted timeline lists summer 2026 as the estimated completion period and opening target. With pickleball continuing to grow in popularity, the new courts could become one of Wilson Park’s most active recreation additions.
