Torrance residents can start Saturday morning with coffee and community at Pine Winds Garden.

Caring House, a Torrance-based nonprofit, is hosting its 3rd Community Coffee Tasting on Saturday, June 13, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event is scheduled at Pine Winds Garden at Torrance City Hall, located at 3330 Civic Center Drive.

The event gives coffee lovers a relaxed local outing while supporting a community organization. It also gives residents a reason to visit one of the quieter spaces around the Civic Center.

For people already planning to be out Saturday morning, the coffee tasting can pair well with errands, the farmers’ market, or a short stop before other weekend activities. Residents should check the event page for any last-minute details before heading over.
