World Cup Transit Service Starts from Torrance Transit Center |
Torrance Transit will offer direct service to SoFi Stadium for World Cup matches. |
Torrance soccer fans heading to World Cup matches at Los Angeles Stadium have a local transit option to know about.
Torrance Transit says it will provide service from the Mary K. Giordano Regional Transit Center to Los Angeles Stadium, also known as SoFi Stadium, for the eight World Cup matches. The service begins 3.5 hours before each match, with the June 12 USA vs. Paraguay match starting one hour earlier.
The city says travel time is about 38 minutes each way. Buses will drop off and pick up riders at Lot S near Arbor Vitae and District Drive, about a five- to ten-minute walk from the stadium.
Fare is listed at $1.75 per person each way. Riders should note that cash will not be accepted for World Cup service. The city says riders can tap a bank card or use a TAP card.
Parking at the Torrance Transit Center is free but limited, so riders should plan ahead.
