A few minutes of planning can save Torrance drivers a lot of frustration.

The City of Torrance maintains a Traffic Impacts page and map showing current lane closures, upcoming closures, and ongoing project information throughout the city. Red lines on the map indicate current road or lane closures, while yellow lines indicate upcoming road or lane closures.

The map can be useful before commuting, school pickup, errands, appointments, or weekend events. It is especially helpful when construction or utility work affects major streets and intersections.

Residents can also click information symbols on the map to get more details about ongoing projects. That makes it easier to understand whether a slowdown is temporary, construction-related, or part of a larger city project.

For anyone who drives through Torrance regularly, this is a practical page to bookmark.
