Torrance residents interested in local public safety oversight have a community meeting to note this week.

The Torrance Police Department is hosting an AB 481 Community Meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will give residents an opportunity to discuss and ask questions about the department’s use of military equipment.
