Torrance Summer Nights is giving families another reason to enjoy the city’s parks this summer.

The city’s summer entertainment lineup includes Family Movie Night: Hoppers on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Hickory Park, located at 2850 W. 232nd Street. The event is part of Torrance Summer Nights, the city’s free summer series featuring concerts, movies, and outdoor entertainment.

Outdoor movie nights are a simple but strong community draw. Families can make an evening of it with blankets, lawn chairs, and a relaxed park setting. For parents, grandparents, and neighbors looking for low-stress summer plans, this is one of those easy local outings worth circling early.

It also keeps the momentum going after the July 4 celebration, giving Torrance residents another family-friendly event to look forward to the following weekend.
