Friday Fun Gives Preschoolers a Nature Morning at Madrona Marsh

Families with young children have a sweet Friday morning option at Madrona Marsh.

Friday Fun at the Madrona Marsh is a hands-on program for preschoolers that includes nature crafts, story time, and a nature walk through the preserve.

Upcoming sessions are listed for Fridays in July, including July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, and July 31, from 10 a.m. to noon. The program takes place at Madrona Marsh Preserve & Nature Center, located at 3201 Plaza Del Amo.

Registration opens on Tuesday at 10 a.m. during the same week as the program. Families should call the Nature Center to register.

For parents and grandparents, this is a low-key way to help younger kids connect with nature, learn about the local environment, and enjoy one of Torrance’s most unique outdoor spaces.
