City Council Returns July 14 After the Holiday Break

Torrance residents can watch, attend, or submit public comment as the council resumes regular business at City Hall.

Torrance residents watching local government have a key date to mark.

The next Torrance City Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the LeRoy J. Jackson Council Chamber, located at 3031 Torrance Boulevard.

The city says council meetings begin with closed session at 5 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. During the regular meeting, the council may discuss and take action on items listed on the agenda.

Residents can attend in person, watch on CitiCABLE, view meetings online, or submit public comment. The city says written comments received by 5:30 p.m. on the Monday before the meeting are published for public review before the meeting. Comments received later, but before the meeting adjourns, are added to the official record.

For residents, this is the easiest way to track what City Hall is doing before decisions show up as street projects, spending items, public-safety priorities, permits, fees, or neighborhood changes.
