Commission on Aging Meets July 7 at City Hall

The city advisory body gives residents a place to follow senior-related issues, services, and community needs.

Torrance residents interested in senior services and quality-of-life issues have a local meeting to watch.

The Torrance Commission on Aging is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Commission Meeting Room – West Annex at 3031 Torrance Boulevard.

The Commission on Aging is one of the city’s public advisory bodies. Meetings like this give residents a way to follow issues that can affect older adults, caregivers, families, and community organizations serving seniors.

For Torrance, aging-related issues are not small side topics. They can touch transportation, housing, social services, recreation, safety, accessibility, health resources, and communication between residents and City Hall.

Even residents who do not attend every meeting may want to know this commission exists. It is one more place where local needs can be discussed before they become bigger citywide concerns.
