Torrance Transit riders should plan ahead for the Fourth of July.

Torrance Transit’s holiday schedule lists Independence Day, Saturday, July 4, 2026, as a Sunday Service day. That means riders should not assume regular Saturday service will apply.

For anyone using the bus to get to work, shopping, family gatherings, or holiday events, this is the kind of small schedule change that can create a big headache if it is missed.

Residents should check routes and schedules before leaving, especially if they rely on a specific departure time, connecting bus, or return trip later in the day.

This is also a good reminder for families helping older adults, students, or workers who use transit regularly. A quick schedule check before July 4 can prevent missed buses, longer waits, or last-minute rideshare costs.
