Torrance residents planning city business should mark the calendar: Torrance City Hall is closed Friday, July 10.

The closure is part of the city’s regular 9/80 work schedule, where City Hall is open nine days over a two-week period and closed every other Friday. The city’s listing also shows upcoming closure dates including July 10 and July 24.

That means residents who need to handle permits, payments, public records, city forms, or other in-person services should plan ahead instead of making a wasted trip. It is a small calendar note, but it can save a frustrating drive to Civic Center.

For anything time-sensitive, check online services first or plan your visit for another open business day.
