Torrance seniors looking for an easy weekday outing have a simple option this Thursday.

Bartlett Senior Center is hosting its Movie Matinee on Thursday, July 9, from 12:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. The city describes the program as a relaxing movie event in a comfortable, social setting where attendees can unwind and connect.

The recurring matinee is held at Bartlett Senior Center, 1318 Cravens Avenue, making it especially convenient for residents near Old Torrance and the Civic Center area. For older adults who want something low-key, local, and social, this is the kind of small weekly program that can make the calendar feel a little fuller.

It is also a good reminder that Torrance offers more than big events — the quiet weekly programs matter too.
