Torrance adults who enjoy flowers, decorating, or hands-on learning may want to stop by Katy Geissert Civic Center Library this Saturday.

The Summer Floral Arrangement program takes place Saturday, July 11, at 10 a.m. at the Civic Center Library, 3301 Torrance Boulevard. The library says the program will include a lecture and demonstration on how to choose fresh flowers, care for them, and create a beautiful flower arrangement.

This is the kind of library event that feels practical and pleasant at the same time. Attendees can pick up simple flower-care ideas, learn arrangement basics, and enjoy a peaceful creative activity without leaving Torrance.
