A familiar bus route may now arrive at a different time.
Torrance Transit implemented a new round of schedule changes on Sunday, July 12, affecting several routes used for local and regional travel. The city says the adjustments are part of its effort to improve service reliability and continue returning the system toward pre-pandemic service levels.
The weekday changes apply to:
Line 4X also received updated Saturday service times. Torrance Transit currently lists no Sunday schedule changes as part of this update.
Even riders whose routes and stops remain the same should verify their departure times. A shift of several minutes can affect transfers, work arrivals, medical appointments, and connections with Metro or other regional transportation providers.
The city has published separate July schedule pages for its routes, including maps, stops, weekday and weekend timetables, and connecting transit systems. Riders who saved an older timetable or rely on a familiar arrival pattern should replace that information with the July 12 schedule.
Because service updates can vary by route, the safest approach is to review the specific line rather than assuming every Torrance Transit bus changed in the same way.
