A new locally created restaurant is taking root at Torrance Crossroads.

Wild Roots is now open at 24631 Crenshaw Boulevard, offering a fresh, fast-casual concept developed by the family behind Bettolino Kitchen. The restaurant is being presented as a health-conscious destination built around vibrant food that fits the South Bay’s active lifestyle.

Rather than duplicating Bettolino’s full-service Italian experience, Wild Roots appears designed for faster and more flexible everyday dining. Early menu highlights include colorful salads, bowls and dishes assembled around vegetables, grains, proteins and fresh ingredients.

That positioning may appeal to residents looking for a convenient lunch, a lighter dinner or a meal that feels more substantial than a smoothie but less formal than a sit-down restaurant.

The connection to Bettolino Kitchen also gives Wild Roots a distinctly local foundation. Bettolino has operated in the South Bay for more than a decade, drawing on several generations of restaurant experience. Wild Roots represents an opportunity for the same family to serve customers in a different format and at a new Torrance location.

Its location at Torrance Crossroads places the restaurant within a busy shopping center already used for groceries, services, dining and routine errands. That convenience could help make it a regular stop rather than a special-occasion destination.

As with any new restaurant, menu offerings and operating hours may continue evolving after the opening period. Residents should check the restaurant’s current information before making a dedicated visit.
