One of Torrance's most unusual retail attractions is hiding inside Del Amo Fashion Center.

Donguri Republic, the official Studio Ghibli merchandise shop, selected Torrance for its first U.S. location, opening a limited-time store at Del Amo Fashion Center.

Fans can browse more than 400 officially licensed products connected to movies including My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke and Kiki's Delivery Service. The experience goes beyond shelves of merchandise—the shop includes themed displays, including a giant Totoro waiting at a bus stop.

The pop-up opened June 23, but there's still plenty of time for Torrance residents who haven't discovered it. It is scheduled to remain at Del Amo through December 31, 2026.

That makes Torrance an unexpected destination this year for Studio Ghibli fans who might otherwise expect to travel considerably farther to visit an official Donguri Republic store.
