Business networking gets a decidedly more relaxed setting this week when the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce brings its Summer Mixer to Jana.

The gathering takes place Thursday, August 13, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at Jana, 21333 Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance. Admission is listed at $11.

Rather than a formal meeting or presentation, the mixer is designed around conversation and connections. Chamber members and other attendees can meet local professionals, exchange ideas and build relationships in a casual atmosphere.

There will also be live music, a cash bar and complimentary hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Chris Lin.

For Torrance business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals who have been meaning to make a few new local connections, this is an easy midweek opportunity to do it without sitting through another conference-room meeting.
