There is still no opening-day announcement, but Torrance pizza fans have received an encouraging update.

Prime Pizza now officially lists its Torrance location as “Opening Soon.”

The restaurant is planned for 3720 Sepulveda Boulevard, with Prime Pizza’s own location directory confirming the Torrance shop as part of its 2026 expansion.

Prime Pizza began in Los Angeles in 2014 with a straightforward mission: make a convincing New York-style slice on the West Coast.

The formula has worked.

The company has expanded throughout Southern California, and Eater Los Angeles recently praised Prime for consistently delivering New York-style pizza with chewy crusts and generous toppings.

Its menu goes beyond traditional cheese and pepperoni slices to include specialty pies, square pizzas, wings, garlic knots and salads.

The Torrance project has been in development for some time, so we are not calling this a brand-new announcement.

The update is that Prime itself is now labeling Torrance “Opening Soon.”

That makes it one worth keeping on the radar.

We will watch for the actual opening announcement. When that happens, Torrance’s increasingly competitive pizza scene is about to get another serious contender.
