Torrance has a big Saturday night of music on the calendar.

The Hot Summer Night Music Festival takes place Saturday, August 22, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Ken Miller Recreation Center, 3330 Civic Center Drive. The event is presented by South Bay Sunrise Rotary as a community fundraiser.

The musical lineup features longtime South Bay favorites Andy & Renee with Hard Rain, along with guest performances.

For residents looking for a local Saturday-night outing without leaving Torrance, this one combines live entertainment with a community cause.

South Bay Sunrise Rotary uses its fundraising efforts to support service projects and charitable work, making Hot Summer Night both an entertainment event and a way to support local and regional programs.

Because this is a ticketed fundraiser, readers interested in attending should check current ticket availability before heading over.
