Torrance-area professionals looking to expand their local network have an opportunity Wednesday morning.

The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce Women in Business program meets Wednesday, August 19, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Hickory Park, 2850 W. 232nd Street. The Chamber currently lists the event as free, with advance RSVP available.

The gathering is part of the Chamber’s ongoing programming designed to strengthen relationships within the local business community.

Events like this can be particularly useful for independent business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs who want to meet people working in other Torrance industries without committing an entire morning to a large conference.

And the price makes this one especially easy to consider: attendance is free.

Anyone planning to attend should RSVP through the Chamber before Wednesday.
