Torrance football fans headed to SoFi Stadium Thursday can leave the car behind.

Torrance Transit’s SoFi Special Service will operate Thursday, August 27 for the preseason game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams.

The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Special buses will depart from the Mary K. Giordano Regional Transit Center beginning at 4 p.m., with the last pregame bus scheduled to leave Torrance at 6:30 p.m.

The service operates specifically on NFL game days, providing Torrance-area fans with an alternative to driving to Inglewood, dealing with stadium traffic and finding parking.

Residents should note an important distinction: the special SoFi service does not operate for concerts or other events at SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater, Kia Forum or Intuit Dome. For those destinations, Torrance Transit directs riders to regular Line 10, which connects the regional transit center with the Downtown Inglewood K Line station.

This week’s Chargers–Rams matchup is the final preseason game currently listed on Torrance Transit’s special-service schedule before regular-season service begins with the Chargers–Cardinals game on September 13.
