Tom Petty’s Biggest Hits Take Over Wilson Park Saturday |
Petty Theft returns for a free Torrance Summer Nights concert |

Torrance Summer Nights isn’t finished yet.
On Saturday, September 5, Petty Theft returns to the Wilson Park Amphitheatre for an evening devoted to the music of Tom Petty.
The tribute band has become a Torrance Summer Nights favorite, performing songs spanning Petty’s long career and giving the crowd plenty of opportunities to sing along.
The concert runs from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the amphitheatre in Wilson Park, located behind the Splash Pad at 2200 Crenshaw Boulevard.
Admission is free, and the City encourages concertgoers to bring a blanket or lawn chair for the outdoor performance.
Petty Theft is also the next-to-last performance in the City’s 2026 Summer Nights series, which continues September 12 with 512: The Selena Experience and Torrance’s inaugural Hispanic Heritage Festival.
If the holiday weekend could use a little “Free Fallin’,” this is probably your Saturday-night plan.
