Here’s an event where even the performers don’t know exactly what is going to happen.

Torrance Theatre Company’s HOT TIP improv group returns Sunday, September 6, for an evening of completely unscripted comedy in Old Torrance.

The performers create scenes on the spot, using suggestions and participation from the audience to determine where the show goes next.

The performance is hosted by Rachel Baumsten and features members of Torrance Theatre Company’s improv ensemble.

The show runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Torrance Theatre Company space at 1316 Cabrillo Avenue in the heart of Old Torrance.

Tickets are $20, with a discounted $15 price available to subscribers. Seating is limited, and the theatre recommends purchasing tickets in advance.

It’s an especially good pick for anyone who enjoys Whose Line Is It Anyway?-style comedy — except here, Torrance audience members can help determine what happens next.
