TOCA’s new season keeps rolling with the Langley Ukulele Ensemble, scheduled for Sunday, September 20, at Armstrong Theatre. The group is presented as a long-running, internationally recognized youth ensemble that turns the ukulele into a full concert instrument through a lively mix of styles and polished ensemble performance.

According to TOCA, audiences can expect a dynamic set drawing from classical works, orchestral arrangements, jazz, swing, global folk traditions and contemporary favorites. For Torrance readers looking for something different from the usual cover-band or casual concert experience, this looks like one of the more distinctive ticketed events on the calendar this week.
