WA Dining Suya Has a September Wagyu Special — and a Sake Adventure |
A quietly upscale Japanese steakhouse is offering a limited $20 Wagyu curry lunch alongside its sake-discovery program. |

WA Dining Suya is one of those Torrance restaurants that feels considerably more polished once you step inside than its neighborhood setting might suggest.
The Japanese steak-and-sake house combines steaks, Wagyu, sashimi and seafood with a beverage program that puts Japanese sake front and center.
For September, Suya is running a limited $20 lunch special featuring a petite portion of its Wagyu curry with salad. The regular Wagyu curry is listed at $25, so the monthly special gives curious diners a lower-cost introduction to the kitchen.
The restaurant is also promoting its Japanese Sake Discovery program, with sake samplers and a KikiSake tasting concept designed to help diners explore different styles instead of simply ordering one familiar bottle.
That combination makes Suya particularly interesting for Bites & Bottles: you can go upscale with steak and sake at dinner, or sneak in at lunch and try the limited Wagyu special without turning it into a major splurge.
