If you’re looking for something with a little more energy this weekend, Smog City Brewing has you covered.

Smogtoberfest returns to the Torrance Brewery & Taproom at 1901 Del Amo Boulevard for its second and final weekend, running Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27.

Friday brings the Allman Jerry Band from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday is the big day, with wiener-dog racing at 1 p.m., followed by a steinholding competition and costume contest, live music from The Towels, and an evening DJ set. Food vendors rotate throughout the weekend, and Smog City is also pouring its seasonal Smogtoberfest Festival Lager along with limited specialty releases.

The event is free to attend, and the brewery describes it as family-friendly, though normal age restrictions apply to alcohol service.
