Sunday brings an important schedule change for Torrance Transit riders.

New timetables take effect October 4 on several routes serving Torrance and neighboring communities.

Official Torrance Transit pages show updated schedules for Line 1, Line 2, Rapid 3, Line 4X, Line 6 and Line 8, all effective October 4.

That includes routes connecting Torrance with destinations such as:

• Harbor Freeway Station
• El Camino College
• Downtown Los Angeles
• Downtown Long Beach
• Artesia Station
• LAX/Metro Transit Center

The important point for riders is simple: do not assume your regular bus will arrive at the same time it did last week.

Even small timetable adjustments can affect transfers, work arrivals and school trips.

Regular riders should check the October schedule for their route before traveling Sunday or Monday morning.
