SR-91 and I-110 Drivers Face Another Week of Overnight Closures |
Lane, ramp and connector closures run through Saturday morning |

Nighttime driving through the South Bay could be slower again this week. Caltrans has scheduled another round of overnight lane, ramp and connector closures along SR-91 between Gardena and Cerritos, beginning Monday night, September 28, and continuing through Saturday morning, October 3.
Both eastbound and westbound SR-91 will see lane reductions during overnight work periods.
Several freeway connectors involving I-110 are also subject to closure.
Those include:
Some ramp and connector closures may run until 6 a.m. or later, especially during the Friday-night work window.
Caltrans says the work is part of a $34 million sign rehabilitation project covering nearly 15 miles of SR-91 in Los Angeles County, with completion expected in 2029.
Drivers heading east or west through Gardena, Carson, Compton and Cerritos should check traffic conditions before leaving and allow extra travel time.
