SR-91 Night Closures Continue Through Saturday Morning |
Drivers using the 91 and I-110 connections should expect another week of overnight lane, ramp and connector closures. |
The construction signs are not going away yet.
Caltrans has scheduled another round of overnight closures along State Route 91 from Gardena to Cerritos, beginning Monday night, October 5, and continuing through Saturday morning, October 10.
Work is part of the ongoing sign-rehabilitation project along the corridor.
The closures can include multiple eastbound and westbound lanes as well as ramps and freeway connectors.
For Torrance and South Bay drivers, some of the most important potential closures involve SR-91 and I-110.
During weekday overnight work, Caltrans says the following connectors may close:
Some closures begin as early as 7 or 8 p.m. and may continue until early the following morning.
Friday night's work can extend later into Saturday morning.
Caltrans notes that schedules are subject to change and detour routes will be posted.

If your evening trip uses SR-91, I-110 or their connectors, don't assume your normal route will be available.
Check conditions before leaving and allow extra time.
