Don't Show Up Without Checking Registration

A free Halloween celebration is coming to Del Amo Fashion Center, but Torrance families should take care of one important detail before making plans.

The city's Mall-O-Ween event is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Children ages 10 and younger can enjoy trick-or-treating at participating stores, collecting free candy while supplies last.

Admission is free, but advance registration is required.

For families hoping to attend, registering ahead of time is the important action—not simply arriving at the shopping center on October 30.

What Should Parents Know?

The City of Torrance's official event listing identifies several conditions.

• Age limit: Children must be 10 or younger.
• Admission: Free.
• Registration: Advance registration required.
• Costumes: Encouraged, but masks are not permitted.
• Candy: Available while supplies last.
• Participating stores: Announced at event check-in.

The registration requirement is especially important because families may otherwise assume that a free mall event is open for walk-in participation.

Where Do Families Check In?

The event entrance is located just south of Carson Street near Macy's Men & Home at Del Amo Fashion Center.

The shopping center's listed address is 3525 W. Carson Street, Torrance.

Participating stores will be identified at check-in.

Parents should review their registration confirmation for additional instructions.

Is There a Registration Deadline?

The official event listing requires advance registration but does not state a specific cutoff date.

That means families should not assume registration will remain available until the event begins.

Availability may also change as registrations are accepted.

What Should Families Do Now?

Visit the official Mall-O-Ween event page, follow the RSVP link, and complete the registration process before October 30.

Remember to confirm the age requirements and costume restrictions before heading out.

It's a simple preparation step that could prevent disappointment on Halloween weekend.
