If your child wants to play Torrance youth flag football this fall, this is the week to get the registration finished.

The City’s 2026 Youth Flag Football League registration period closes Friday, September 11 at 5 p.m.

Teams are formed according to grade and school, with games played primarily on Saturdays. The league is tentatively scheduled to begin Saturday, September 26, although students in grades 6–8 may have some weeknight games.

Registration costs $79 for Torrance residents and $89 for non-residents. Families can register online, by mail, fax or in person through the City’s Community Services Department.

The City is also looking for volunteer head coaches, making this deadline relevant to adults interested in helping with the league as well.

One important detail for mailed registrations: the form must actually be received by 5 p.m. Friday, not merely postmarked by then.
