The Los Angeles Rams are opening their season almost 8,000 miles from home Thursday night—but Torrance fans won’t have to travel nearly that far to watch together.

The Harbor Area MobSquad is holding a Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers watch party at Dave & Buster’s Torrance on Thursday, September 10, beginning at 5 p.m.

The game itself is historic. Los Angeles and San Francisco will meet at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia, marking the NFL’s first regular-season game played in Australia. Because of the time difference, the Friday morning game in Melbourne airs in Los Angeles at approximately 5:35 p.m. Thursday.

The Torrance watch party promises a designated viewing area with game audio, raffles, giveaways and a family-friendly atmosphere. Dave & Buster’s is located at 21880 Hawthorne Boulevard near Del Amo Fashion Center.

So while the Rams begin their season Down Under, Torrance fans can still experience opening night surrounded by plenty of blue and gold much closer to home.
